Iran’s Supreme Leader Holds Key to Nuclear Deal

LAUSANNE, Switzerland—With a key deadline just hours away, U.S. and European officials said nuclear negotiations were imperiled by deep uncertainty over whether Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would sign off on the necessary concessions for a deal.

All parties to the talks have set March 31 as the date for concluding a framework agreement that would outline all the main elements of a deal constraining Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for lifting international sanctions. The Obama administration and its negotiating partners have said technical discussions on a final, comprehensive agreement will continue through June.

For certain Obama’s — er, I mean Iran’s — Supreme Leader will sign on. How often does a dictator get to negotiate a key agreement with a mindless flunkie like Obama? The bozo one is on his knees pleading. Iran holds all of the cards here. And easy prediction. Then all Obama has to do is to pay off his corrupt media pals to trumpet this as “peace in our time”.

    • I suspect so, they seem to have been granted everything they could have hoped for.

From someone that likes to think that anyone that disagrees with you is evil and the anti-Christ. As spoken about in terms where someone tells you how to think. You constantly as seen on this site are for nuking other nations. That is your so-called sanity which is in fact lunacy. Iran has not attacked any other nation in 200 years and the US supplied Iraq with weapons to attack Iran and vice versa. That is how trusted the US is because the US has been two-faced for much of its history and why the US has to get over its hatred of Iran for wanting to be an independent nation rather than a US vassal state pre-1979.

People have long memories especially of the 50+ wars the US has launched since WW2.

Usually when I think of a deal I think that both sides get something they want. Iran wants a bomb, Obumbler wants Iran to have the bomb, where is the deal?

When will we hear the USAF ‘lost’ a few nuclear weapons and ZOMG! they magically turned up in Iran?

If they are experiencing “deep uncertainty”, they obviously have been ignoring what he and his minions have been saying openly since these talks began.
