Earth Hour vs Human Achievement Hour 2015

David Menzies reports for

Partying like it’s 1799 isn’t The Menzoid’s thing, so he asked some random Torontonians about Human Achievement Hour — the smart alternative to wrongheaded, Luddite “Earth Hour” propaganda.

    • You have no idea.

      That’s ok, I’m in Vancouver.

I’m following the Holy Bible on this one. The Book of Matthew, chapter 5, verse 16.
“Let your light so shine among men that they may see your good works….”

What monor thought that turning the lights off was a good message? Who is against electric lights?

Gotta love Menzies. I like the idea of Human Achievement Day. But I’m not against the concept of Earth Hour. Although I find it fast becoming annoying. Being prepared for a major service disruption is not a bad idea though.

If you worked at a power company you would see that Earth Hour is at the very least laughable and at most a minor annoyance.

Good to see Menzoid at his best. Two weeks ago we were freezing our butts off with no power, no hot food or drinks. Two days!!! Would love to see those ‘earthlings’ without their precious electronics, fashion, music, etc. Such poseurs. Earth Hour…. it’s laughable. Most of them could not even articulate what that means.

Do you have a copy of Ezra’s Human Achievement Hour commercial from a couple years ago?

  • My sister had to call me and remind me that it was Earth Hour.

    I had no idea.

I only observe real holidays and observances, so…

Happy birthday, whoever’s birthday it is today.

Sometimes I cringe when I listen to Menzies. But I wouldn’t heckle with this report.
