    He might not get a dishonorable (and he very well might too) but his odds of getting an honorable, unless he is completely exonerated of all charges, are pretty much zero.

    Anything other than an ‘honorable discharge’ means you are pretty much ‘boned’ in the employment marketplace, with some being worse than others.

    When I served 45 years ago, there were a number of less than honorable discharges that could be imposed. For example, those caught engaging in homosexual acts received an undesirable discharge. The reason given: “For the good of the service.”

    He will be reduced in rank and given an administrative discharge. Even if he’s convicted and given a sentence it will be applied against ‘time served’ for his ‘desertion’ or capture or whatever they call it.

    The screams from the White House must have been deafening when they learned the JAG wanted to pursue this. SOP for a tinpot dictator like Obama is to fire the JAG and find some way to toss the case over to civilian prosecution by his crony, Holder.

    We should expect Obama to start wearing stupid shiny track suits like Venezuela’s Maduro soon.
