Cherson & Molschky: World Duped Again: Gaza Cement Not Used for Rebuilding Houses

After a desperate plea to the international community, PA President Mahmoud Abbas was able to secure pledges of over 5 billion dollars to rebuild Gaza after Operation Protective Edge. Now, Qatar donors are admitting that most of the cement allocated for reconstructing homes is actually being sold on the black market.

Tugging on the heartstrings of politicians and humanitarian groups, Palestinians were able to convince the world that the “poor Gazans” are in a dire situation and in need of new homes. But rebuilding terror tunnels takes precedence. Violence against Israel is actually more important to Gazans than having a place to live.

As the “Elder of Ziyon” blogger writes, “The president of the Qatari National Committee for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Emadi admits that the mechanism for rebuilding Gaza by giving cement directly to Gazans has failed.”

Even Qatar is fed up…

    No sh@t!!

Wow not like any one with a brain would have figured all that concrete they needed would go towards building more tunnels and weapons caches rather than towards homes.

“Palestinians” don’t build things, they destroy things.

      • Exile1981

        They build tunnels.

Touche. But then again, they only build those tunnels to destroy other things.

Foreign aid is a big scam.

Donors are thrilled to have their picture taken in front of rubble ‘because of the Jews’.
