Starbucks Encourages Its Baristas to Rap About Race Relations With Customers

Good grief.

(I like my coffee the way I like my men: randomly berating me about Social Justice and related crapola. Not.)

Yes Mr. Barista, please tell me why If white-flight is racist, and gentrification is racist, then where are all the White people supposed to live?

My wife prefers her men white and her coffee black. Is that racist?

    • Justin St.Denis

      In all likelihood, yes. (sarc)

The best form of coffee is the flat white, invented in Melbourne. Still doesn’t seem to have made it to North America yet.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

I never heard of that before.

The fanciest my coffee has ever gotten was using heavy cream instead of milk.
Maybe a good whiskey if I’m doing an Irish coffee, but I had a Kahlua Mexican chocolate coffee last Friday night that was probibly the best coffee drink I ever had.

      Why hasn’t MSM covered this?

  • Schultz, you are a fool.

The minute I get asked to check my privilege, I will.

I will take the privilege and go for coffee somewhere else.

Insulting your customers in the name of PC seems like a suicidal business move.

Boycott these joints, starbucks, timmy’s, mcdonalds etc., all for their own reasons.
Get your coffee from a locally owned & operated café, support your community NOT the big corporations which: 1) Try social experiments on their customers, 2) Bring in TFW to fill the jobs previously done by locals.

    • I’m already boycotting all those places by default.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

I don’t think I have ever spent my own money inside a Starbucks since maybe 2006?
Starbucks, it’s where you go to burn up those gift cards you received from people that don’t know you.

  • Speaksvolumes

I’ll stick to Tim’s and Second Cup.
