Why our Toronto #StopC51 protest video went viral

Ezra Levant asks Marissa Semkiw of TheRebel.media to talk about her video interviews with protesters at Toronto’s #StopC51 protest on March 14, 2015.

Most of the protesters — many of them self-described communists — were incapable of explaining why they opposed the bill.

Semkiw explains that she did not handpick the people she spoke to, and that approximately 90% of the people she interviewed made it into the finished video.

It went viral because of Marissa Semkiw.

Gotta admit, she’s a cute little muffin. But deadly serious in her work. Hope to see more of her. (for her work)

I want to explain my comment.
I looked up her linkedin profile and found she interned for Megyn Kelly.
When SunTV went down I was afraid she’d disappear from the media scene.
        She’s really good.
And I’m past the point in my life of putting people her age on my List.
I have a teenage daughter and look at Marissa as someone she could emulate.

    Good stuff.

We need to understand that when you appear at every protest for any and every cause, it really becomes impossible to say what you are protesting and why.

Liberals and Democrats invoke the phrase Astroturf when conservatives stage protests because they are projecting on us the tactics of paying for protests they use.
They don’t realize that we go there of our own free will without getting paid to do so and we clean up after ourselves when we leave.
