BARRIE, ONT. — The OPP will interview Premier Kathleen Wynne before the end of April as part of a bribery probe into the Feb. 5 Sudbury byelection.
Wynne said Tuesday her legal counsel and the OPP have agreed upon a date which she will not make public.
“This is a normal protocol,” she told reporters after a luncheon speech.
The OPP is investigating allegations Wynne’s deputy chief of staff, Pat Sorbara, and Sudbury Liberal fundraiser Gerry Lougheed dangled the prospect of a job before former Liberal candidate
Andrew Olivier as an enticement to step aside from the campaign.
