Commie Nutters On Parade…

Blogwrath went to yesterday’s Bill- C-51 protest, all the ususal suspects were there.

In retrospect I’m kinda glad I spent half my day solving web site issues.

The dickwad with the ‘working class’ sign doesn’t look to me like he’s ever held a job. I see there’s an old commie beside him.

    • Blacksmith

But he has some skills, you ought to see him fill a French fry bag.

    • Speaksvolumes

I don’t know – what’s so great about a job to pay taxes that supports this “culture” we now have?

  • Martin B

You’re not a real Communist unless you’re waving a RED Che Guevara flag:

To date I have been opposed to this bill for totally different reasons; the main one being the unwillingness to use existing laws to deal with the problem and the refusal to invoke the not withstanding clause should some judicial activist rule against it. Seeing the usual scum with their organised and foreign funded protests, that convinces me that the bill is a good thing.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks, or should that be ladies?

    • lolwut?

      Gender is fluid.

      Didn’t you get the memo?

I know the Toronto Sun hasn’t been genuinely conservative since the P.C. implosion after Mulroney but its report today about the protest was sickening. Lying that it was cold and rain being braved by the “crowd” when yesterday was above freezing (thus “rain”) and only a light drizzle with no accumulation; that we eventually learn after a headline etc. claiming “thousands” attended that it was estimated at 4,000 (one-fifth of a Leafs’ game crowd); no telling us any details about the organizer other than she’s started an online petition; and not told anything about the attendees (were any/many bused in trade unionists?) let alone if any of them had anything extreme to say. Luckily Blogwrath will brave the loonies for us so we can have the truth actually reported.

Also I find it hilarious that the (I take it) International Bolshevik Tendency group apparently has a member who has taken calligraphy lessons judging by their placards. Some might find that a bourgeois affectation. Don’t tell the Maoists!

Thanks bunches Blogwrath. During the early 80’s I would spend a 36 roll of film documenting the spring and fall peace marches. Same thing, a few naïve young people all heart and pitiful brain, dupes of socialism, banners, placards overwhelmingly anti-American. So I try to insert a Soviet SS20 hammer&sickle tipped missile mounted on a truck as a counter point, but of course rejected by the peace lovers.

The sign in the picture Is too funny. The commies who were being interviewed were all on about how Harper is undemocratic. This guy is on about how democracy is bad. They should get together and sort out their message.

  • MasterXan

I think the people who were genuinely concerned should be angry at these clowns highjacking their protest.

  • Speaksvolumes

They’ll have to hose down Nathan Philips Square after all that.

    • Ottawa Eyes

Maybe they should have hosed down the square during that?
