Caught my wife cheating with a coke head in a prostitute infested motel in Charlotte NC.

Thank god I didn’t do anything crazy…

They put this much work into ballet, yet Ivan still cant make a consumer product anyone wants to buy.
      It’s the damnedest thing.

      • FactsWillOut

well, they did invent the AK.

        • Minicapt

          And the samovar.

          Cheers

          • FactsWillOut

            …and the FOAB.

          • Minicapt

            It’s a copy.

            Cheers

Not exactly what I would call a “consumer product”, Facts.
Maybe you live in a rougher neighborhood.
The AR-15 is still a better rifle. 🙂

I hesitate to comment from no personal experience but …
Surely “better” depends on the objective, who uses it, under what environmental conditions and at what cost. I can envisage situations where the AK47 is more than good enough.

The Kalashnikov is OK if you are shooting at someone 200-yards away and you have no marksmanship skills, training, or means to even clean or maintain your rifle. Think of your average Somali, or illiterate Taliban follower, then it might be a better choice.
If you are trained to fight by any western nation, that cares about delivering accurate and well placed rounds on a man sized target at any reasonable distance, then it’s ARs all the way.
I don’t mean to start an AR/AK flame war (there are entire blogs for that), but unless you are going full guerrilla, then the AR family is a pretty good rifle for all sorts of things besides a war.

Many historians are claiming Michail Kalashnikov has “stolen” the AK-47 design from the Germans. In opposition, the Russians claim that Schmeisser only role was to implement the new manufacturing technologies for mass producing the new assault rifle.
The assault rifle designed by Hugo Schmeisser during WWII (STG 44 – Sturmgewehr 44, also known as MP 43 and MP 44) looks very similar with the AK-47, designed by Kalasnikov.

MP 43,44 were 9 mm from the get go… pre WW2.
STG 44 was mid range rifle cal. nothing to do with MP 43,44
have read Hugo Schmeisser based (stole?) STG design from a Czech guy in the 30’s

          • DD_Austin

Czechs also made the best tanks in the 1930s

It wasn’t a just country Chambertlain gave Hilter

It was an arsenal, producing the some of world’s most advanced weaponry

    I admire his restraint.

    • FactsWillOut

He’s just as much of a dirtbag as his whore wife.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Probably, but I imagine It’s hard to keep up the Robert Young – “Father Knows Best” act while something like that is going on.

        • Justin St.Denis

          I think so too.

      • Justin St.Denis

Really? Under the circumstances, I would cut the husband some slack. He just found his wife in bed with another man. In the heat of the moment, “whore” is a rather restrained response IMHO.

When are people going to learn to turn their iPhones SIDEWAYS when they make a video…. Sheesh…

    • Osh

Thank-you. I’ve been wondering about that for a while now. And yet, how many ‘bright lights’ point their hand guns sideways and wear their baseball caps backwards? Sheesh indeed.

    • Justin St.Denis

In a word, never. Bothers me too, but it’s been years now and nobody but me and my kids seems to have connected those dots. Nice to know we’re not alone!

I hate it when people hack my private family photo albums.
