Thomas Mulcair met with a Canadian Palestinian activist who called Jerusalem massacre murderers “role models”

The Toronto-based newspaper Arabic Meshwar reported (Issue 125, March 6, 2015 p. 20) that NDP leader Thomas Mulcair met (March 1) with representatives of the Arab community during his visit to the GTA.

According to the report, the meeting, that was initiated by the Canadian Arab Federation (الاتحاد العربي الكندي), took place in a hotel in Toronto and was attended by 8 representatives of the Arab Community, including Dr. Faris Ayyad, CAF’s National President and Monira Kitmitto, former board member of the Palestine House.

    But they are moderates!
If we don’t work with them then they will driven into the shadows, or underground… or something, and then the radicals will take over, or something.
I guess telling them to F.O. until they pull their heads out of the 7th century has not yet been thoroughly explored as an option.

It’s the only that works. Their 7th century outlook must be rebutted as every opportunity.

Could it be due to Muslim membership in the NDP? I seem to recall a few years ago I came upon a wildly anti-Semitic NDP member. It was shortly after I first began reading around after 9/11 and I don’t remember the name or whether he was federal or provincial.

At the time, I was shocked. I hadn’t followed politics for years but thought the NDP,were the good guys. (Didn’t take long to lose that outlook).

By now, it just seems routine.

      Only one?

I remember Peggy Nash praising Hezbollah over their “social justice work” and calling them “freedom fighters” in 2006 after they attacked Israel firing some 4,000 rockets provided by Iran through Syria.

She and the Liberal’s Borys Wrzesnewskyj went to Lebanon to meet with the Hezbollah representatives and both were extremely critical of Israel to the extreme.

      • Frau Katze

I wasn’t doing exhaustive research. Just happened upon that one case, very soon after 9/11. By 2006 I realized the NDP were fruitcakes.

    • The NDP and the Liberal Party are identical, the leadership of both parties express positive Israel related positions, for appearances sake, the rank and file members not so much…

Remember one of Justin’s top advisors working in his office is Omar Alghambra former head of the Canadian Arab Federation with very close ties to Saudi Arabia.

LBs is just one of many .but due to her rabid anti-Semitism ,on a pounds for pound density basis, her corpse would probably need to be disposed of at a toxic waist site.

The NDP were NEVER the good guys.

It is routine in any discussion at the lunch table ALL leftists eventually denounce the Jewish state . it is bedrock fundamental now. there is an amusing line of “reasoning” out there that even claims the masons are an ancient Jewish Templar sect and that they still run the Bilderbergers ( great name for a burger stand) the grove and the so on. lunch has taken on the feel of living an episode of ancient aliens .but without the spray tan and insane hair styles

I look at those pictures and note there are no women there. I can accept that a potential political leader can choose to meet with any of his potential constituents (including possibly unsavoury ones) and that shouldn’t be an immediate indictment of their character. But if you were to play the game “insert any religion other than Islam here” do you not think that the media and a dozen liberal harpies would be screaming at the lack of female and LBQTDOXIANOIWNEWQEN representatives there? (yes i did just smash my face on the keyboard after typing LBQ…)

Just save time and say “the alphabet”.
Any missing letters will soon be included anyway.

I always thought Mulacair was a bit dippy. Any man wearing a beard in Cdn public office must have a lot of secrets to hide

    • Alain

True, even as a French citizen one can say the same.

    • JoKeR

At 1:43 does he say “whether Mr. Obama was holding a weapon”?

This was when Jack Layton was still the leader, but it opens up the question as to whether Mulcair is a conspiracy theorist, was he showing respect to Osama Bin Laden, and whether he called him Obama instead of Osama, but then why did he call him Mr. O—- instead of Mr. Bin Laden?

And to think Mulcair used to be a Liberal!

Yes, this is always disgusting and even more disgusting is that members of every federal party have been guilty of the same nonsense at one time or another. I am not saying all federal parties are equal, but I am fed up with this kind of vote whoring by all of them.

  • David Murrell

NDP Leader Mulcair doesn’t give a spit about what his Arab-Muslim cronies say about Israel. And besides, meeting with anti-Semites gives him positive points at CBC News, the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail.
