Why China Will Lose the War It is Planning

How do we know the war is coming in the first place? Because the advertising for it is out. Amongst plenty of other evidence, one Chinese front organisation conducted a poll on Australian attitudes to the ANZUS treaty and a Chinese attack on Japan. Why would they conduct such a poll unless they are going to attack Japan? Not that they were interested in the results as such. They just wanted to be able to publicize the poll in order to try to keep Australia on the sidelines of their war.

I have to disagree with my esteemed former CIA analyst writer.
The Chineese won’t start a war that will cost them money and wreck their trade situation with the west.
They are way too much of whores to do that.
If they were not reliant on the U.S. like a junkie is to his heroin dealer, then maybe.
If their trade with the U.S., Japan, Korea, and Australia suddenly stops, they are in deep trouble.
Any dreams of cutting a deal with Moscow to buy their crap is just that, a dream.
They have yet to play nicely together for more than a few year in a row before one of them does something underhanded to the other and that upends the checkers board.

Agreed. Besides which any serious country is always ‘war gaming’ scenarios. Doesn’t mean they have any intention to go to war.

  • The Chinese will not attack Japan.

Why would China care what the average Australian thinks?
Especially as the Australian government doesn’t care what the average Australian thinks?

Attacking Japan also means you have a navy that can get there, still afloat.
    That isn’t going to happen.

What does Japan have worth taking? Not natural resources, it has none.
It’s more likely Japan would attack China for natural resources (historical)

If China attacks anyone it would be India (borders or terrorism or both)
or one or all of the “stans” (Terrorism) or Taiwan

I think China will collapse under its own weight.

the chinese will be wiped out by the japonese like they have always ..
they will be stronger with all the new tech weapons scummer bill clinton sold them ..satellites, subs, super sonic copies of jets, aircraft carrier propulsion systems (also note the sloped deck for take-off / landing ?? very good for clear air turbulence, crosswinds, snaggin’ sea birds for stir fry & hanging laundry)

The Chinese might chose to attack Japan as revenge for WW2. That is always a strong motive. It could do it to unite the Chinese people against an historic enemy. That has been a popular reason or going to was in the past. I’m not saying it is going to happen, but it is not outside realm of possibility.

I sympathize with some of the comments on this thread, those that suggest that a China-instigated war will not happen. And yes, the CIA writer sometimes gets carried away with his scenarios.

Yet he does present some solid facts, as to the small details of China’s pre-war preparations. One underpinning, as to why he might be correct as to China starting a war, is the almost numbskull foreign policies under Obama-Kerry. China (as does Putin) fully realizes the doofus-appeasement approach that Obama-Kerry bring to the table. If mildly retarded people are in charge of U.S. policy, then the U.S.’s enemies will exploit that fact. The writer did not emphasize this point.

Where I disagree with the CIA writer, and some people on this thread, is to the extent China will go in its aggression. I think China will copy the Vladimir Putin approach, and simply take land, through military force, where it knows Obama and Japan will appease the aggression. Surely the Spratly Islands can be taken by force, whereby nothing will be done in reply. Obama has done nothing (aside from meaningless sanctions) against Russia. Surely China can copy the Russian approach. After all they are allies.

So look for incremental territorial gains, and more intimidation. One Hillary Clinton wins, in 2016, expect more of the same. She will appease both Russia and China. This is the future the West faces.

    What about Taiwan instead?

    • David Murrell

Good point. China can attack Taiwan, knowing the retarded Obama will do nothing.

        Weakness invites aggression.

If china is planning an attack against anyone it will be soon so that it is old news and a done deal by the time Obama leaves office. I think they are smart enough to wait though until obama gets sucked into something stupid; like say troops in the Ukraine before they move though.

Why would China want to make war?

The ‘talking heads’ in the West are set for China to become the next Super Power.

    China had better watch out
The West and China think $$$$$$$$ but…
there is another powerful ingredient to the mixture…
    …. ideology
The Muslims it seems are bound to surprise.
