College Conservatives Labeled a ‘Hate Group’ After Sticking to Their ‘Religious’ Beliefs

The gender pronouns included in the training shown above

A conservative student organization at The George Washington University (GW) has been facing substantial backlash for refusing to participate in the school’s LGBT-sensitivity training.

Young America’s Foundation (YAF), a conservative youth organization, fears their request for an exemption from the training could lead to the school cutting their funding.

According to GW’s school newspaper, The Hatchet, the LGBT training would “teach student leaders about gender identities and sexualities,” while also educating them on gender pronouns. The trainings were labeled “safe zones” for LGBT students…

  • As most of the words in the chart above are not real English, I refuse to use them, as should everyone else.

    • Frau Katze

They’re trying to change the language. But society might collapse before their project comes to fruition.

      • Just a thought

Almost certainly their original intent, in any case.

      • Alain

They succeeded with the misuse of gay and are emboldened.

      • kkruger71

Not even sure it’s them trying to change the language so much as it’s a code, sort of a collection of secret passwords. If you don’t know or respond with the correct phrase, you are an outsider that should be shunned.

      • That has been tried before with limited success. It’s time to reinforce existing grammar and vocabulary.

My position on Homosexuals conforms to what this Rabbi says.
Being tolerant and accepting of them does NOT require condoning what they do.

    • canminuteman

To tolerate something means to put up with something that you really don’t want to. It doesn’t mean to love it and sing its praises.

You know who else at George Washington University might be accused of sticking to their ‘religious beliefs’?

The Muslims at George Washington University who use the prayer space at George Washington University!

    Prayer times at this link….

And if anyone needs directions to the prayer space, here’s a convenient and helpful YouTube video.
Our (obviously) male guide is even kind enough to point out the ‘Ladies’ Entrance’…..

    • Rosenmops

They have a lady’s entrance and a men’s entrance, but no doors for genderqueer two-spirited people??

      • Just a thought

Muslimes are exempt from sensitivity to anything, except for perceived “wrongs” to themselves, of course.

      • Frau Katze

They’re going to need a whole lot of extra places to segregate all these new genders.

  • Surele Surele

Nothing offends me more than ‘safe spaces’ at the university. Instructions of how to wash hands in every washroom (at university) comes a close second.

    • Just a thought

If they still don’t know how to wash their hands by the time they get to college, how can we be sure they know how to read the instructions?

  • DMB

Remember the days when homosexual ‘safe zones’ were bath houses!

  • Micky C.

I must be an irrelevant dinosaur… i cannot/will not get my head around these pronouns.

    • Frau Katze

You’re not alone. They sound strange to me too. But I am a dinosaur too. They are aiming to change the language by influencing young people.

  • cmh

What about safe zones for heterosexuals? That is a type of sexual preference too.

  • andycanuck

I hope no one secretly videos them singing hymns and/or praying on an off-campus bus trip.

  • kkruger71

It does say attend and take part in the “training”, but it doesn’t say anything about it being graded, or a pass or fail. If I were them, I would just attend and either mock or joke my way through it, or attend the day but wear an MP3 player all day.

Who cares what a liberal calls you ?
