Hillary: ‘I Chose Not to Keep’ My Private E-mails

During a press conference on her exclusive use of a private e-mail account and server during her tenure as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton said she “chose not to keep” her private emails — suggesting she deleted thousands of her correspondence and raising questions over how she decided which to delete and which to turn over.

While explaining that she opted for a private account and server as a “convenience,” Clinton said she had accrued about 60,000 e-mails on that server – half government-related and half of a personal nature.

It’s so much more convenient to run your own private server at home. It makes it so much easier to delete all the emails you don’t ever want released to the public.

No doubt that was the plan all along. This would be a HUGE scandal if a Republican had done this.

  • Tom Forsythe

    The Clinton playbook:

    – wait a week to respond
    – claim total co-operation with investigators
    – focus on legal minutia
    – claim invasion of privacy
    – point out similar acts by Republicans
    – admit poor judgment while denying any wrongdoing

If you mingle private and public emails, it makes the private emails public, not the public emails private.

Who paid to go through all her emails and figure out which to turn over and which to delete?

Sixty thousand emails turned over, plus however many tens of thousands deleted, costs tons of expensive manpower to read and sort.

Was this paid by her personal money or the Clinton Foundation? The foundation is heavily funded by the Saudis and other foreign governments.

    Who pays the piper?

If she told me it was raining outside, I’d check with the Weather Channel before I left the house.

I don’t think the Weather Channel has a record that is much better.

      • Hard Little Machine

At least the Weather Channel isn’t selling access to the government by Hamas in exchange for millions of dollars.

If she told me it was raining, I would tell her to stop peeing on my leg.

  • This is Tuesday for Mrs. Clinton.

God only knows what ALL of those Denebian slime devils have been hiding.

Gowdy needs to send federal marshals to seize all electronic communications devices in her home immediately. Even if the evidence has been destroyed – and I’m not certain she knows how to do that – she deserves the inconvenience for printing out 55,000 pages of emails, boxing them up, and send them to the Congressional committee.

Now me, I’d put a bit sector image of her hard drive online for downloading and ask every patriot to search it for deleted incriminating evidence. Consider it a distributed computing project for justice, like Seti@home with handcuffs.

What a horrible picture, yuk, shudder.

    • WalterBannon

she is even uglier on the inside….

  • Raymond Hietapakka

Maybe she’ll explain herself with some $200,000 speeches at a bunch more Universities…

    • DVult

You would have to pay me to listen to one of her speeches.

  • WalterBannon

she “chose not to keep” her private emails, aka the emails where she used her public office while extorting money from foreign powers to line her crooked pockets…

  • Frau Katze

Wonder if she’ll still be the Dem front-runner? The Dems seem prepared to overlook anything.

    • Norman_In_New_York

At this point, the Democrats are like Wile E. Coyote running off the cliff while still thinking they are on solid level ground.

What has this woman (!) ever achieved? And she aspires to be President? God help America.
