Now the UN Is Demanding Worldwide Taxes for Climate Change

The UN has never met a problem it couldn’t tackle without calling for a new tax. Over-dependence on fossil fuel? There’s a tax for that. Inequitable distribution of global wealth? There’s a tax for that. Climbing obesity rates due to our fondness for junk food? There’s tax for that, too.

Now the UN has decided such piecemeal slugs aren’t enough to underwrite its grand plans to save the world from itself. So hide your wallet. The UN wants all you’ve got and then some.

A new report released Wednesday proposes a sweeping new raft of international taxes that could net the UN and its mendicant agencies an estimated US$13 billion annually and enable it to do what it thinks it does best: telling the rest of us how to live our lives.

Both Trudeau and Obama would probably agree.

I wonder how long before we all just work for the government in one capacity of another, then they can give us a our half loaf and scraps from the govt elite tables.

    • ntt1

We will be lucky to get half a loaf, more likely a bunch of food vouchers and pocket change.

Way past time to be rid of this corrupt incompetent body.

  • The “rest of the world” should do themselves a favor. Quit bitching about the successful societies. Look at what the successful countries are doing and follow the leader.

If South Korea can go from war devastation to world economic powerhouse in 50 years, so can the rest of these third world political and economic basket cases.

As long as “third world basket cases” continue to blame their problems on others, they will wallow in a self created cesspool.

Funny how it always comes down to individual responsibility.

The UN mouth pieces are a bunch of pricks who are always trying to grab money.

      Is that God’s answer?

      • Linda1000

Maybe, God giving the UN the middle finger. I was just trying to make the topic of climate change or weather more interesting. 🙂

          You certainly did.

    Fuck the UN!

When you consider yourself the world government, it is only natural to be able to tax your subjects. Only supporters of a one world government would find this acceptable and a good thing.

Yet another dishonest photo at the top.
NO, I’m not blaming our host. All your are seeing is condensed water vapour. The grey/gray is just shadow produced by the lighting (or, possibly, photoshopping).

In order to bring upon a one world government it will need the ability to tax civilians and legally impose laws on once former sovereign nations. The vast majority of nations on Earth are not democracies but dictatorship. Global government means global tearney on all the people of Earth.

American legislators are very sensitive to the likes and dislikes of voters for better or worse, and no way will such a tax become law without a massive attitude adjustment by the public.
