Are Canadians REALLY Willing To Pay a Carbon Tax?

According to a new survey, the vast majority of Canadians are willing to pay a carbon tax — as long as they don’t have to do it at the gas pumps!

Marissa Semkiw asks average Canadians whether they’d REALLY be willing to pay even more for gas if it would “fight climate change.”

Have at it perverted, libtard Ontario, just keep your asinine tax policies and everything else within your own borders.

    • Ugh that’s us alright;)

I guess I’m becoming a little paranoid about ON because the rot and corruption is on a bigger scale than Alberta with Prentice in charge, but we are headed in the same direction due to 40 years of our so-called provincial Cons. nonstop spending and mismanagement. The sad part is, just like ON there is no other real alternative party to vote for to run AB.

I’m hoping that the wild rose can get there act together now that smith jumped ship. The next round should be those who believe in Alberta rather than the first group which seemed to be in it for money and power.

Who the hell wants higher taxes? Possibly two kinds of people:

    1) Those at the lowest rungs of the socioeconomic ladder who don’t actually pay taxes

    2) Women who married well, spend money like water and feel guilty about it.

    • Liberals want them, so long as its other peoples money.

“This is a stunning development, that the head of the Environmental Protection Agency — who should know more than anybody else in the world, who is imposing hundreds of billions of dollars in cost to prevent this climate temperature increase — doesn’t know whether their projections have been right or wrong”

Time to seperate, ontario can pay higher taxes and we will have more freedoms.

This is a one sided survey. The fix is in to get a bogus results making it look like people want a carbon tax so politicians can justify implementing one. I am not buying this.

    • Alain

Yes, and I suggest that were the survey restricted to people actually working and paying taxes the answer would have been different.

NO more taxes Wynne wastes way too much already .
Time to move from Ontario. The only problem is: where to go & will it actually make a difference in the end. Of course, a job is the other big factor. Getting too close to retirement.
