5 injured in car Jihad attack in Jerusalem

At least 5 people including four female border police officers, were injured on Friday morning when a car rammed into a group of pedestrians standing at a light rail station in east Jerusalem.

Police are treating the incident as a suspected terror attack.

Two of the injured policewomen were in moderate condition and three were lightly wounded. They were evacuated to local hospitals in the city.

Police said the driver veered from the road onto the sidewalk, before getting out of the vehicle with a weapon, attempting to stab passersby. He was shot and wounded by a security guard.

“Police are treating the incident as a suspected terror attack.” AND ” Police said the driver veered from the road onto the sidewalk, before getting out of the vehicle with a weapon, attempting to stab passersby”…..

A suspected terrorist attack. Not sure yet. Have to weigh all the possibilities. Could have lost control of car. As for the getting out of the car, probably just checking to see what damage had been done to his car. As for the weapon, which seems to have been a knife, that was planted. We think. After all, he is a member of the religion of peace, we assume.

I think they mean terrorist attack against random people vs. attempted murder against a specific individual.

According to [a Druze security guard, known only as] M., Salayma was holding an cleaver at the time. “We identified him running with a cleaver in his hand. We chased him and he started screaming ‘Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar’. That is when we finally understood that it was a terror attack, but thankfully it ended and we can return to our routine.”
