Saudi Arabia was recently praised as progressive by the UN Secretary General. And it is. Progressively awful.

Saudi Arabia is investigating why one of its senior female envoys at the United Nations appeared without a head cover during a special UN session on the Middle East early this week, a newspaper in the Gulf kingdom reported on Friday.

Manal Radwan, first secretary at Saudi Arabia’s mission at the UN, was shown live on many TV channels without a head cover while delivering a speech.

Radwan was also the first female Saudi diplomat to address the Security Council. Naturally it was a rant about the Jews, Gaza, Hamas, etc because the only thing that angers the Saudis more than unveiled women is the Jews…
