Four men who left a student scarred for life after a vicious gang attack in east London were today jailed for more than 15 years.
Shelim Uddin, 21, of Fieldgate Mansions, Romford Street, Whitechapel, admitted grievous bodily harm with intent and was today jailed for six years.
Shahdat Hussain, 20, of Malmesbury Terrace, Caning Town pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and was sentenced to 22 months in a young offenders’ institute.
Kamrul Hussain, 23 of Clichy House, Stepney Way, pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and was jailed for two years and three months.
Masoom Rahman, 22 of Greatorex House, Greatorex Street, Whitechapel pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and received an 18-month sentence, suspended for two years. He was also ordered to complete 200 hours unpaid work and pay Mr Hounye £600 compensation.
Samad Uddin, 25, of Sivill House, Columbia Road, Bethnal Green pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent and was jailed for five-and-a half years.
