RABAT, JANUARY 29 – An international meeting for young Muslims bringing Islam’s religious leaders together began on Thursday and runs through January 31.
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), which works in the humanitarian field, includes over 500 Islamic organizations from 90 countries. This year’s meeting in Morocco aims to propose an educational project to develop over the coming four years.
”It is an extremely difficult period for the Muslim world,” noted former Sudanese president Abdou Rahman Mohammed Hassan Souar Al-Zahb at the conference.
The floor was then given to Abderrahmane Ghannam, representative of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, its highest authority on religious issues…
