Pakistan’s Haris Sohail misses World Cup match claiming he was woken by ghost

Pakistan’s Haris Sohail

A Pakistani cricketer has missed a World Cup warm-up match after claiming he was woken up in his New Zealand hotel room by a ghost shaking his bed.

Haris Sohail was forced to move rooms after becoming convinced that a ‘supernatural’ presence was haunting him when he found his bed moving on Saturday night.

The cricketer, who is on tour with his national side in New Zealand, then spent the rest of the night in a coach’s room at the Rydges Latimer hotel in Christchurch…

      Way too much!

I used to work for a well educated Chinese woman who thought ghosts moved things around in the office. I didn’t work for her long.

      That must have been….different.

Next he’ll blame it on a jewish wizard trying to prevent him from winning.

It’s Christchurch NZ. Probably an earthquake, tremor or other seismic activity. If it was Rotarua, I’d say it was geothermic.

      Quite likely.

Or he was simply wacking his tack too enthusiastically and started the bed shaking. That is the likeliest scenario. He is, after all, a batshit crazy Pakistani. BTW, that also means his pen is is likely significantly smaller than the European average. When I was in Pakistan many moons ago, they were rioting when the government moved to mandate the manufacture of smaller condoms for locals since “slippage” kept happening and unwanted pregnancies resulted. Paki guys have tiny dickies, and they’re muslim, so they are constantly enraged.

        And batshit crazy.

Oh, and Pakistanis have ALWAYS been batshit crazy.
