Nearly half of Londoners support death penalty for terrorists… the other half are terrorists

Nearly half of Londoners back bringing back the death penalty for terrorist murders, a shock poll reveals today.

The YouGov survey for the Standard showed 49 per cent of adults in the capital support capital punishment for murder during terrorist attacks, such as the killing of Fusilier Lee Rigby.

Men are more hardline, with 55 per cent believing terrorist killers should be executed, compared to 42 per cent of women.

Older people are more likely to favour the death penalty for such offences, according to the poll carried out after the Paris atrocity in which three terrorists killed 17 people.

Fifty-four per cent of Londoners aged 40 and over supported the re-introduction of the death penalty which was abolished in 1965, while the figure for the 25 to 39-year-old age group was 44 per cent, and 38 per cent among 18 to 24-year-olds.

I’m not surprised by those numbers.

The best solution to dealing with terrorists is to take no prisoners.

    • I think that is the wisest course.

By virtue of being a terrorist, with is without virtue, they deny themselves Geneva Convention protections because they deny it to their victims, by virtue of being terrorists, which is still without virtue.

Notice how we are being dragged back to a more devolved state by radical Islam?
The anger I feel reading about or seeing (even fractions of) their babbling bearded claims of superiority, misogyny and beheading frenzies etc etc…. demands some Old Testament reprisal!!
I haven’t felt hatred for a group of people since… Hare Krishnas were making a nuisance of themselves at airports and that was certainly a negligible annoyance compared to isis’ sex slaves, tortuous killing and rampant butchery…
Of penultimate importance is that in the next election, no matter the idiots running in other parties in Canada? Trudeau must not be in charge.

As I’ve said many before, had we lost a war and the resulting cost was the migration of whole swaths of an alien population, I could understand that. What we have though, is the same result without having fought or lost the war.

Our Immigration Ministry has undermined the “peace, prosperity and good government” that is our expection and rights as taxpapers. The more Islam, the less of the above.

Worse, the decision to severely alter our immigration sources, though it would be to “fundamentally transform” Canada, it was not done by the voice of the people, but by the Liberals.

So, why hasn’t Harper realigned our immigration? Why did he increase and accelerate Muslim immigration after 911? Heaven help us if the boy Trudeau becomes PM, but under Harper, heaven is still going to have to help us.

Yes, now I see why some people think women should never have been granted the vote. I wonder if they’re Methodists!
