Great Leader Kim Dong Wynne achieves Venezuela like fiscal-policy ranking

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne has emerged near the bottom in a Fraser Institute ranking of premiers based on fiscal prowess.

The report, Measuring the Fiscal Performance of Canada’s Premiers, obtained by Sun Media, says Wynne earned an overall score of just 39.5 out of 100 on government spending, taxes and deficits/debt.

“Sound fiscal policy means prudent government spending, balanced budgets and a tax burden that isn’t so heavy it becomes a disincentive for people to work hard, save, invest and be entrepreneurial,” Charles Lammam, Fraser Institute’s associate director and study co-author, said in a statement.

For the provincial Liberals, it’s a Wynne-Wynne scenario!

Besides the insane green energy addiction to windmills that are ruining Ontario’s beautiful rural areas, does this government have any other policies as destructive in the short- and long-term?

And for Torontonians, are we waiting for a road toll announcement that will kill businesses and places of employment, day trippers, etc.? Or will City Council ever come to its senses? Will Tory prove to be a colossal idiot?

The rent seeking scum on Bay St seem to find her policies to their liking.

      • I see the NDP’s Broadbent institute has just released a study saying Toronto’s median wage has shrunk under OLP stewardship.

    • Relax! Toronto’s median wage has shrunk soon we will all be equal!

“…does this government have any other policies as destructive in the short- and long-term?”.

Structural deficits and debt; a new carbon tax; other tax hikes; opposition to the new Canada East pipeline proposal…the list goes on. Kim Dong Wynne opposes anything involving new jobs, especially hard hat jobs.

Well, we could always be as bad off as the EU… Hey, wait just a second…! (Thanks for starting the list, DM. Now to look forward to my evening martini or Glenlivet.)

I can imagine the laughter in Ottawa after she demanded 25 billion dollars for infrastructure work this year. Guess she has to figure out a way of paying for the billions being thrown away on the Panam bread and circus act this year. I heard a rumour that as part of her climate change policy she is going to tax the air we breathe, because of all that carbon dioxide we exhale. Meters will be set up in every home to record the amounts produced.

Expect even more cultural enrichment from this Olympic crap! UGH!

Will people with larger than average lung capacity be taxed more for the air they breathe?

    • Don’t put it past her, I also see her Minister has floated the idea that the increased risk of terrorism may cause the security budget to bloat.

Her OMB board has approved wind turbines to be built next to the Collingwood airport to the puzzlement of local government. Wind turbines next to an airport. What could possible go wrong?

    • Wynne is a visionary.

And her line of “WynneWear” Lesbian Attire is catching on like crazy! I’ve been to many, many social events over the past few months and have noticed that every woman who vaguely recalls Wynne is, indeed, a lesbian. The WynneTypeLesbians number in the thousands, and all have big huge teeth, scrawny bodies, and padded shoulders. The WynneWear line was inevitable. I’m sure she’ll make scads of bucks with it…

Well for one thing shredding an aircraft would make a more interesting video than one showing birds being shredded.

A Fraser Institute study. One thing I have notices is that the liberal media cartel censor studies from the Fraser Institute, but highlight — often as the lead story — studies coming from the Center for Policy Alternatives. So the above Fraser Institute study will be censored by the Wynne-friendly media (the Star, CBC and CTV News, the Globe and Mail).

Wynne government mantra: “Taxes good. Tolls good. Windmills good. Carbon tax good.” Rinse. Wash. Repeat. etc. ad infinitum…

      • And to think McGuinty’s top adviser Butthead now serves Justin…

Can we trade her to a 3rd world dictatorship in exchange for some oppressed Christians?

I think Venezuela might be looking for some more well used communists to work on what’s left of their economy.

      • Venezuela might be an improvement for Ontario

I was there for two weeks in 1986-1987 years before Chavez, and it was rough enough back then and Caracas quite dangerous. I think the west end of Toronto just fine for me. 🙂 Let’s send Wynne to Caracas instead!

            Let’s send Wynne to prison

The left says we should raise min wage and raise taxes how does this make any sense.

“The Left” and “sense” are mutually exclusive terms.
