Averting Islamophobia

The Koran contains passages, which espouse peace and comity. It is theses passages, perhaps, that have enabled Presidents Bush and Obama, and several foreign political leaders, to mistakenly declare Islam a religion of peace. The Koran also contains passages which call for world domination and which espouse violence, mayhem, and even murder as the required and current action for the promotion and protection of Islam, and its objectives. The direct effect of these verses is reported daily in our news media. In Syria, Iraq, Nigeria, in dozens of other countries, more recently in France, acts of violence, mayhem, and murder are being carried out, in the name of Allah. While many, if not most Muslims do not ascribe to this behavior, it cannot be denied that Islam propagates a significant, controlling minority of those whose religious zealotry and savagery, denies the peoples of the world, Muslim and non- Muslim alike, peace in our time.

‘Islamophobia’ is seven fallacies in one: 1) ad hominem 2) red herring 3) poisoned well 4) loaded words 5) exclusion of evidence 6) holy cow fallacy 7) overgeneralization

Calling critics of Islam ‘insane’ is beside the point. The threat of Islamic terrorism is real. The character or sanity of the critic is independent from the truth of a criticism. Thus, the ad hominem fallacy is irrelevant. Facts remain true regardless of the messenger.

Just like ‘Islam is peace’, the ‘Islamophobia’ campaign will run aground when most people discover they are being misled with seven fallacies of thought. This complex fallacy is hard to debate, because it is basically name-calling.

‘Islamophobia’ is predominantly a ‘loaded word’ fallacy, but it is also a form of the ‘ad hominem’ fallacy.

‘Islamophobia’ is a slur invented to silence non-Muslims who question Islam and who demand equality of the sexes, free speech and pluralism. It is basically the exclusion of any evidence that will be damaging to the credibility of Islam or Muslims.
Four-fifths of humans believe Islam is false and it is not for the minority to tell the majority what they may not say or may not write. No reasonable person can look at the amoral biography of Mohammed and believe he had a message from God. Mohammed was a Death Cultist and false prophet and should be denounced by all good people.

Islam has some real problems that should be discussed.

The Islamophobia slur is a distraction from the issues. Those
      issues are:

1 No Golden Rule 2 No free speech 3 No democracy 4 Jihad – holy war of supremacism 5 Honour killings 6 Taqiyya – sacred lying 7 Taqlid – group think 8 Misogyny – repression of women 9 Rape of kafirs as jihad prizes
10 Genocide 11 Ethnic cleansing 12 Al-Walaa wal-Baraa – Islamic apartheid 13 Torture 14 Plundering 15 Cruel and unusual punishments 16 Backwardness – stagnation 17 Violence against women 18 Slavery 19 the Incompatibility between Sharia law and democracy
