So what caused him to lose control?

    • A bump I believe.

Driving a race car on a dry road at over 200mph is like trying to control an ordinary car at 60 mph while going over a large patch of ice. There is no room for error or inattention or constant bad judgement.

When I drive my minivan at 330 k I make sure the windscreen is very clean.

It is a testament to the crash safety engineering on that car, that anyone came out alive .
