WTF? Comedian arrested for comment on Charlie Hebdo attacks

Dieudonne Mbala Mbala

Notorious French comedian Dieudonné was arrested Jan. 14 for being an “apologist for terrorism” after writing a Facebook comment suggesting he sympathised with one of the Paris attacks gunmen, a judicial source said.

Prosecutors had opened the case against him on Monday after he posted “Tonight, as far as I’m concerned, I feel like Charlie Coulibaly” – mixing the popular slogan “Je Suis Charlie” used in homage to the journalists killed at magazine Charlie Hebdo, with a reference to gunman Amedy Coulibaly.

Coulibaly killed four Jews at a Jewish supermarket on Jan. 16 and a policewoman the day before.

The comedian made international headlines in 2013 when French footballer Nicolas Anelka was banned for five matches by English football authorities for using a hand-gesture created by Dieudonné that many people consider anti-Semitic…

It makes no sense to arrest him for this and claim to be pro-free speech.

Yes, he’s an obnoxious jerk, but the what did our leaders think they would get when they imported third worlders en masse?

If you want a homogenous population with a minimum of friction like the recent events regarding Charlie Hebdo, then you should not be importing millions of people from wildly incompatible cultures.

The French cannot have it both ways.  Nor can any of the Western governments, for that matter.

He’s much worse than an obnoxious jerk. I don’t know how to categorize him. I don’t know if he would commit violence or just inspire others to do that. He certainly doesn’t have common sense or decency making stupid comments after what has just happened in France and to some of his favourite people, Jews/ sarc. He is a pig.

He’s bad, but hate speech laws need to go.

Importation of unassimilatable third worlders is a question that should been given a negative answer long ago. It’s far too late now.

Sure but what this creep indulges in IS incitement to violence under the cover of “comedy.” He supports the ideologies of violence, not just hate, because hatred is normal, but violence is what civilized society tries to keep under control through self-restraint.

Muslims are using our laws against ourselves. Their intentions are not merely hateful, but vigorously genocidal in historical context wherever the ideas this “comic” promotes are the rule. We must make distinctions between that which foments and that which is merely froth.

It HAS to be different for the group that considers us not only different, but inferior, filthy and worthy of subjugation, humiliation and/or death, otherwise all bets are off.

But I agree, we have come too far for simple common sense. I’ve had several conversations with an otherwise intelligent associate who on this subject is a child with feelings, not facts. He’s no youngster, almost a senior, but is visibly agitated by what he thinks is “racism” on my part towards the IDEOLOGY of Islam. My theory is that he’s deathly afraid of confronting this reality not in case it’s true, but because it’s true and intrinsically understands how helplessly paralyzing is would be to contemplate the danger our government has put us in.

“.Muslims are using our laws against ourselves. Their intentions are not merely hateful, but vigorously genocidal in historical context wherever the ideas this “comic” promotes are the rule. We must make distinctions between that which foments and that which is merely froth.” But we don’t make laws to combat that, do we. It is complex.

Window treatment for underlying rabid antisemitism. Jews need to leave Europe now; tomorrow may be too late.

Deportation for the muzz… Free speech is costing an awful lot these days!!!

    • Frau Katze

If only! This twit was born in France.

      • Zaba

Soon, we won’t care where he was born.
        islam needs to go!

Ultimately, we will have to come to the conclusion that sel-describing Muslims hold an ideology that is at root, treasonous to any free nation it inhabits and that the abundantly proven historical equation is, more Muslims = less freedom.

I wish I could say that history could prove otherwise, but even in the so-called “glorious Andalusia,” Jews and Christians lived as dhimmis, not as equals.

This so-called “Golden Age of Islam” also caused the Dark Ages of Europe by pirating the trade routes and raids for slaves, plunder and booty, or and, of course, more terrortory.

No citizenship by birth … and make it retroactive.

        Cheers

He’ll merely get fined. Those who criticise Islam are prosecuted and jailed under “hate crime laws.”

    • Frau Katze

We need to do away with “hate speech” laws altogether. And, no I don’t like that guy one little bit.

      • Zaba

We need to do away with islam…..

  • Zaba

This would be in the incitement category, not free speech.

    Disgusting. Release him now!
