Wall Street Journal No Longer Politically Correct on Islam

The Wall Street Journal is the most widely read newspaper in America. When it speaks, people listen. And they should, especially to today’s editorial on the dangers of Islam, written in the aftershock of the Muslim attack in Paris. (The editorial is hidden behind the paywall, but can be accessed through Google News here.)

The Journal points out that Syria has become the “Grand Central Station” of jihad, and quotes Andrew Park of Britain’s MI5: “A group of core al Qaeda terrorists in Syria is planning mass casualty attacks against the West…We face a very serious level of threat that is complex to combat and unlikely to abate significantly for some time.”

In other words, Islam is at war with us, and the war is a long way from being over.

And the muslim-in-cheif is going to do everything to aid the enemy. Hang his ass for treason!

    • Oh he will try.

I’m anxious to see if the Republican congress has the spine to stand up to him and set policies right.

        That’s sarc, right?

……the war is a long way from being over.

And when are we planning to ID the enemy and declare war?
Until then, nothing will ‘be over’.

The WSJ wants us to do the dirty work of doing away with ISIS for the House of Saud, just like they used 9/11 to justify polishing off their old enemy Saddam Hussein. No.

They may rest assured that any new surveillance state measures will be used to silence opponents of Islam, not to fight it.

Withdraw the protection of US law from Muslims and put a price on their heads. Let capitalism do the rest of the job of liquidating Islam’s threat to America.

Yes: declare the truth abut islam- it is NOT a religion.

The West will have to consider more aggressive interventions, including arrest or exile, for citizens who visit terror regions and show signs of embracing jihad. Tracking Muslim student groups and clerics is also essential to preventing future attacks. The Associated Press campaign three years ago against the New York police for legal monitoring of Muslim groups looks more morally obtuse with each homegrown attack.

The Wall Street Journal and The Australian are both NewsCorp (Murdoch) papers.

May have been a little international telecon with The Boss (who is a Classical Liberal). The Times (UK) is also NewsCorp. Interesting to see what stance they are taking.

The Wall Street Journal has been Open Borders Central for many years. Does Murdoch really intend to change that?

    • Frau Katze

No. But still WSJ is a better read than NYT. The book reviews in NYT aren’t worth reading anymore — all they review are crap by “diverse” authors on “diverse” topics. They must use a formula: we need x books by “people of colour”, y by women, z by gays, and so on.

It would be helpful if France held a hero’s funeral for the downed cop in the picture. That cop was doing his duty to serve and protect free speech. That needs to be celebrated.
