150 Car Pile-Up on Michigan Highway I-94
What sort of idiots drive at those speeds in those conditions?
The sort you watched in this film.
I’ve had 30 years experience driving from Toronto to Chicago and back in all seasons, and in the winter, the part of the drive I dread most is I-94 in southwestern Michigan and northeastern Indiana. The road conditions can change quickly and drastically, as the highway closely approaches Lake Michigan in that area. Ice builds up on the road faster than the salting trucks can get at it.
These people are clearly blind. Unbelievable.
Woow, poor people.
All those people were effectively out of control as they crashed, icy roads with a scurf of snow are the worst ,just slow right down.
A very clear example of driving far to fast for the road conditions.
Slow down, use the gas and the brake pedals lightly. That philosophy has gotten me through 41 years of driving. Skid school helped a lot also.
