Montreal columnist apparent victim of terror-related piracy

MONTREAL – Police are investigating after someone hacked into a Montreal columnist’s computer and posted a hit list of targets “for crimes against Islam.”

Lise Ravary has often condemned Islamic extremism in her column for Le Journal de Montreal, a sister newspaper of QMI Agency.

Ravary was writing a story on Thursday when she noticed someone had replaced her family photo wallpaper with a page from al-Qaida-linked Inspiremagazine.

The pirated photo included a list of targets to be shot “for crimes against Islam.”
