Clash of civilizations is now underway

Islamist terror has struck again.

This time Parisians are reeling from the massacre of 10 of their journalists and cartoonists, and two policemen, at the premises of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical journal.

In 2006, the magazine had dared to publish the provocative Danish cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad that enraged many Muslims around the world.

The magazine’s office had been attacked before; in 2011 it was fire-bombed after the Prophet Mohammad was mockingly named as the magazine’s honorary “editor-in-chief.” Fortunately, no lives were lost in that incident.
