Today In “What Gall” – Turkey condemns terrorism after Paris shooting, calls for fight against Islamophobia #CharlieHebdo

“Another phenomenon that threatens Europe is growing discrimination, racism and Islamophobia. These growing trends and terrorism trigger each other,” he said. “People’s beliefs should be respected, not insulted. We should also fight terrorism.”

While Turkey actively supports ISIS and Hamas…..

It’s despicable that Turkey would play the Muslim-as-victim card again – on a day in which the Religion of Peace claimed at least another 12 victims, brutally slaughtered for offending said peaceful religion. The escalating calls from Turkish leaders to halt “Islamophobia” – especially in light of the deluge of Islamic atrocities throughout the world – are outrageous in their chutzpah. There is a deep and willful moral blindness there that cannot see reality.

So, the terrorism they are condemning are the cartoons drawn by these now-dead cartoonists?

      …something we should now encourage…

Somebody got through to Today’s Zaman. The headline now reads “Turkey strongly condemns Paris shooting, calls it unacceptable savagery” but the URL shows that the article was originally “Turkey condemns terrorism, calls for fight against Islamophobia.” It seems that on second thought, even Zaman editors decided that now was not the time to paint Muslims as victims once again – at least not in the headline.

Why is Turkey in NATO? Why do we consort with a enemy of Civilization? Why do we pay any attention to a nation who once tried to wipe out an entire people basically because they were Armenian Christians? Why….? WHY?
