Cat superiority

  • Oh dogs…. Not as smart as kittens.

We got Billy the Border Collie (who was big even as a puppy of 12 weeks) and since dogs love to chase things it wasn’t long before he tried to chase one of the cats. Unfortunately for him he chose Sheldon (my avatar). The next thing we hear is a yipe! yipe! yipe! and there is Billy scooting down the drive way for dear life with Sheldon hot on his tail, all puffed up. The happy result was that Billy had a healthy respect for cats imprinted on his psyche and Billy and Sheldon became good friends.

Lesson number one for puppies: Do not try to play with the things that have the retractable claws!

  • That puppy should have taken back that bed.

Where is he going to sleep? On the couch?

    Hhmmm….

The cat just decided to stand its ground. And it worked. Puppy fail. Poor guy.
