Damascus: The Islamic State (IS) militants have apprehended a number of people for wearing pants on the streets in Syria’s eastern province of Deir Ezzor, media reported.
The terrorists detained a group of people wearing pants in the city of al-Mayadin in Deir Ezzor and took them to their security stations, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (syriahr) reported on Saturday.
The militants, then, informed the detainees relatives that they must bring “loose clothes” for the arrested people to be released.
IS extremists also tore some people’s pants on the streets by using sharp instruments, syriahr said, adding that the terrorists also whipped three men for “smoking cigarettes” and two others for “letting their wives go outside without wearing Hijab” in Syria’s northeastern province of al-Hasakah…
