Official: Israel mulls war crimes lawsuits against top Palestinians

Israel is looking at ways to prosecute senior Palestinians for war crimes in the United States and elsewhere in response to Palestinian steps to join the International Criminal Court, an Israeli official said on Saturday.

The Palestinians delivered to U.N. headquarters in New York on Friday documents on joining the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and other global treaties, saying they hoped to achieve “justice for all the victims that have been killed by Israel, the occupying power.”

The Hague-based court looks at cases of severe war crimes and crimes against humanity such as genocide.

The Israeli official said Palestinian leaders “ought to fear legal steps” after their decision to sign onto the Rome Statute.

“Israel is weighing the possibilities for large-scale prosecution in the United States and elsewhere” of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and other senior Palestinians, the official said.

I sincerely hope that Israel follows through regardless of what their sworn enemies do or don’t do.

It sounds unbelievable, because it is unbelievable.
What IS believable, however, is that big szchiddt-eating grin of yours…lol…

Someone has forgotten that the only way to get war criminals in the dock is to defeat them in battle and capture them alive.

First things first. Pave that bloody lawn.

There is another, more modern way.
Have them arrested by another state when they travel abroad.
The ICC carries no weight in Israel or in the US because neither are signatories, but to preclude the Palis from travelling to the US in particular would be a great coup for the Israelis.

This is great news and something that Israel should have done long ago. I always wonder why they haven’t, what is the real reason? Were they hoping it wouldn’t upset the muslims? I have just finished reading ‘Icon Of Evil’ and am truly shaken by it and the facts contained within which have been systematically hidden from the world’s general and basic knowledge of world history. The repressing of this knowledge from western school curricula is astonishing and should be corrected. Also, this book should be republished now as it was put out too early (8 yrs ago) to be picked up by the masses which are just beginning to become involved in wanting to rescue their societies from the hatred of Islam.
