What a lady! Did you know “The Beverly Hillbillies” ran for 9 years, from 1962 to 1971? Dang, a great run.

Doesn’t seem right that Elly May could ever get old.

She was fun. And hot. When Elly May and Granny opened that topless restaurant I watched the entire episode hoping against hope…

Donna Douglas was apparently a “real person” on and off stage and like most at her age fell desperately in love with Elvis Presley. Unlike them, she had access to “the King” via publicity scenarios and learned who the “real Elvis” was.
He treated her badly by most accounts.
