Why Palestinians Opposed Abbas’s Statehood Bid

“We are opposed to return to a path of ‘futile’ negotiations. Our people have the right to pursue resistance in all forms.” — From an appeal by six Palestinian groups to PA President Mahmoud Abbas, against the resolution he submitted to the United Nations.

The widespread opposition among Palestinians to Abbas’s statehood bid is a clear sign that many Palestinians remain opposed to any form of concessions to Israel. It is also an indication of fierce opposition among Palestinians to the resumption of peace talks with Israel.

“Hamas will not accept anything less than all the lands that were occupied in 1948.” — Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar.

Which proves Palestinians don’t want peace, or statehood, just perpetual victimhood and fighting the Jews.

There’s more money in what you said than there is in Peace. Or at least that’s what they think.

In a way, it’s a good thing, as it exposes the diplomatic subterfuges for what they are. With Republicans taking control of Congress, it should be much harder for Abbas to raid our treasury.

Most Republicans are Democrat lite until such time as the conservative wing can take over. Sadly the RINO’s have declared war on the Tea Party Repubs. They should put half the effort into taking on Democrats as they do trying to purge their own party.

According to the Globe and Smell, they want membership with the international criminal court now. Just what we need, another international body controlled by muslims.

Resistance to Muslims means offensive action to exterminate all Jews, and generally to rid the world of unbelief in their violent Islamic nonsense.

Expulsion has always been the only viable solution.

Their general IQ is dropping fast. In the past, they could produce a set of demands with which to start the negotiations, and then raise objections in the follow-on ‘negotiations’. Now, they just not going to cooperate at all.
