Indonesia nabs three suspected terrorists

The National Police have announced the arrests of three suspected terrorists, including two linked to Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) leader Dulmatin , the alleged mastermind of the 2002 Bali bombings.

Muhammad Shibghotulloh, one of 12 Indonesians who were deported from Malaysia after being stopped on December 2nd while allegedly travelling to the Middle East to join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), has since been arrested by Indonesian authorities who have linked him to Dulmatin, the Jakarta Post reported Friday (December 26th).

“[He] allegedly once sheltered Dulmatin and was involved in a militant group training camp in Ambon,” the Post quoted Police Inspector General Ronny F. Sompie as saying.
