A year of Islamist radicalization

Statesmen, members of the intelligence community, and historians have all failed to predict several major events that have taken place around the world over the past few years, and were generally baffled by the twists introduces by the minister of history.

The careful observer trying discerning what the future may bring, has been left with more questions than answers regarding potential trends and players in global theaters, but nevertheless, the Islamist players are more prominent on the international stage, and their agenda is as clear as their commitment to the seventh century legacy of the Prophet Muhammad.

It is therefore easy to conclude that the radical Sunni terrorist organizations affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, including the Islamic State group, al-Qaida, Hamas, world jihad, and the Nusra Front, will use 2015 to try and complete their takeover of Iraq, Syria and several African countries, where they seek to establish an Islamic caliphate. They will then use it to attack Europe and the apprehensive West.
