Blazing Cat Fur
Sassy was 14 and her blog’s namesake.
Sorry to hear that, Sassy. Condolences.
Takes the wind right out of your sails.
I’ll say – I’m still crying everyday.
So sorry about little Sassy.
It’s hard to lose a faithful pet. But the joy of them being part of your life is irreplaceable. Sorry for you loss.
A pets passing will always leave a hole , life span differences guarantee deep feelings of loss. My, sort of, solution is to have a pair of pets and stagger their ages by about half of expectancy, then immediatedly replace lost pets with a newbie , an apprentice if you will, and the overlap in aging will give a feeling of continuity. It has been my experience that there is a form of “house lore” that is passed on this way. It is never easy though.
My sincerest condolences on your beloved friend’s passing and may your heartbroken loss be brief, dear Sassy. My beloved little girl, Miss Trixie, passed two weeks ago so I understand. *hugs*
RIP and may you find solace.
It’s always sad to lose a furry friend.
