Star Op-Ed: Canada’s Only Advantage Over Other Nations Is Multiculturalism So We should Import More Mid East Muslims

Islamic State’s tyranny strikes all religions – Canada should bring in refugees of all religions from Syria and Iraq, not just the ones from religious minorities.

“As Canada debates how it can meaningfully help this region from being torn by civil strife, massive refugee flows and failing governments, I see only one comparative advantage that is truly Canadian: our multicultural society.”

The author is an Iranian. The one thing that Canada does not need is blood crazed Middle East Muslims.

Canada, if it does anything at all other than bomb IS, should take refugees with clean hands and who are more likely to assimilate in Canada. We should also prioritise refugees who are at the greatest long term risk from jihadi to and zealots from both the Sunni and the Shi’te sides. In the chaos of Syria or Iraq it is almost impossible to acertain the security status of any Muslim. IS and Al Quada do not keep accessible records and the Shi’te death squads are no better. From which it follows that no Muslim males of more than, say, 12 should be considered to have “clean hands”.

In general Muslims seem not to assimilate well in Western societies and, in the Middle East, there are plenty of countries which would be a better fit. Saudi, Turkey, Syria without Assad for the Sunni, Iran for the Shi’tes. (If Canada feels a humanitarian obligation – and Lord knows why we would – we can send money for resettlement of these Muslims.)

Refugee status should only be accorded to those who have nowhere else to go. The few remaining Jews are being welcomed by Israel. The Kurds are going to Kurdistan. That leaves the Christians and the pagans. I think we should welcome both groups. They have no future in the religiously cleansed middle east. And we should make sure that each place we give to an Iraqi or Syrian Christian is removed from the pool of places available to the Somalian or Pakistani Muslims.

As a general rule Canada needs to look for refugees and immigrants who will contribute to Canada and whose religion/political cult position is not implacably opposed to Canadian values.

    Same old story isn’t it?
A muslim wants Canada to take in more muslims. Of course.
I might be agreeable to the idea if countries like Saudi Arabia would take as many refugees as they could handle.
    They haven’t and they won’t.

    • Frau Katze

Too bad we can’t control the govt policy on immigration.

      • Ed Ellison

Part of the problem is that bureaucrats make the final determination of who enters the country.
Bureaucrats who all too often support their cultural cohort rather than people who would benefit Canada.

        • Rosenmops

And the bureaucracies are infested with muslims

          • WalterBannon

hence the need for a coup

          • Jason

The idea of a coup is fine with me as it happens, but realistically, most people are not prepared to take such a step. So what tools are at our disposal? People can mail the heck out of the government, whoever it is – Cons., NDP, Green, Liberal, whoever. Let them understand perfectly that there are many people who disagree with muslim immigration and want it stopped.
Then I suppose something like PEGIDA is doing is possible. I can’t think of anything else offhand but I do believe muslim immigration into Canada needs to stop now, before the percentage becomes too high, before it is irreversible. They’re planning to have close to 3 million muslims in this country by 2030 – pushing 10 percent. We would be where France is today, which to me is a very frightening thought. Can we not force politicians to discuss/debate immigration at the very least?

          • WalterBannon

That has been tried. A coup is all that we have left since legal protest has no impact on a government that cares not for the country it has been delegated to manage. But you are right about the lack of will. That will of course change but probably not until well after things have sunken to a much worse state. Just watch the EU for a hint on when the trigger point will be reached. But also be aware, that point is likely also where a coup will no longer be enough and a full fledged civil war will be the only option.. As I have no faith in the sheeple, I predict the future for the decedents of the western peoples will be very much like Jews, Christians and Hindus in majority muslim middle eastern countries – i.e. our inaction now is a death sentence for your children.

          • JUILLE

I agree with the pegida approach, us infidels must organize ,the unions were able to get their members to protest the mike harris government, tens of thousands hit the street in protest against cuts that had to be made.Well people our way of life is threatened by a seventh century cult.Sharia law, fgm,………and so on.If we leave the next generation to deal with these Mohammedans it will be too late, the time to act NOW!

          • Alain

Perhaps but I do know that the majority of the bureaucrats are clearly leftist which results in the same thing as being infested with Muslims. I used to work for the federal public service in several different departments and positions and recall how anti-Conservative most were. It was rare to be able to find anyone there who shared in the least my political beliefs. I also saw the extent to which they would go to sabotage any conservative government. It was Mulroney at the time and later it was Harper prior to a majority government. The attitude was pretty much that they were there to stay and outlast any government policy they did not like. Unless the minister in charge is willing and able to keep them on a very short lead with on-going monitoring, the minister will be undermined at every turn. The claim that the public service is non partisan is a myth.

          • Exactly.

          • Mal

The word “infested” is appropriate there, Mops. I often use it in reference to islam in the sense of them being like unwelcome insects; but it turns out that the original use is even more apt:
ORIGIN late Middle English (in the sense ‘torment, harass’): from French infester or Latininfestare ‘assail,’ from infestus ‘hostile.’
The current sense dates from the mid 16th cent.

          • JUILLE

You’re right, it’s time to disinfect.

      • We can, but it will take an organized and determined effort. Immigration is far too important an issue to be left to self serving politicians and our ideologically toxic bureaucracy.

      • WalterBannon

We can, but it will take a coup

        • JUILLE

Whatever it takes,if there is no other option so be it.We need leaders to organize , to get the ball rolling.Politicians will only act when their career is on the line.It must be a grassroot movement ,Stopping immigration from muslim countries would be a good first step.

      • Isn’t this supposed to be a democracy?

        • Uncle_Waspy

Democracy is highly overrated. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding what to have for dinner. Democracy is low information soccer moms pushing for elaborate and expensive social programs, massive immigration and higher taxes because it makes them feel good about themselves.

Constitutional republic seemed to work pretty well until it started being dismantled.

Supposed to be. But look at the Swedish trick. Effectively silencing a party that does not meet elite approval. The elites are going to get their way. The more time passes, the more voters they import.

Do as we say, not as we do!

A hilarious instance of irony occurred when botox stretchface Nancy Pelosi, speaking to a media scrum on the topic of the massive influx if illegal aliens, said something along the lines of: “I wish I could take you all home with me!”

Pelosi is married to a billionaire. They own several palatial estates. Taking all those poor scabies-ridden MS13 “children” into her homes was entirely doable.

I will accept Christians and Jews from the wretched Islamic moslem countries. The rest, leave them there to clean up their own mess. If we let them come here, their ingratitude will be measurable in hours, not generations.

  • jayme

Ottawa has the most shootings in the history of the city all thanks to immigration but we should bring in more.

  • Islam is more disease (of social dysfunction) than anything else.

Expose your society to it and expect to catch it.

Look at the rest of the places on the earth where Islam is allowed.

See any multi-culti places working out well with Muslims?

I’m having huge problems with Disqus from the iPad. I’ve had the same problem. I’ve got a complaint sent to them. From my iPad I am lucky to get comments at all. Lately it has been just spinning circles. What version & type of iPad do you have?

          • iPad Air

          • Frau Katze

Thanks. That’s newer than mine. Good to know. I’m pursuing it with Disqus. I have sent a bug report. There are also some Disqus support blogs ( ironically, Disqus works fine from the Disqus screens, even on the iPad. I’m using them now on BCF almost exclusively now. On my iPad the comments rarely will even appear for me. Just a spinning circle).

      • Frau Katze

He’s using an iPad. I’ve had the exact same problem. Disqus has degraded noticeably for iPads.

    Lolz women voters!

  • b_marco

Plenty of middle eastern women seem to have a sturdy looking jaw. I wonder if that’s an evolutionary adaptation to being beaten?

  • If political multiculturalism works, why is discord, strife and mistrust?

If the West steadfastly refuses to safeguard the centuries’ old homelands of religious minorities and openly allows unassimiable masses, it might as well blow itself up and get it over and done with.

  • Blacksmith

You use the word ‘advantage’ It doesn’t mean what you apparently think it means…..

  • J. C.

The ‘multi-cult’ is a colossal failure. The Star needs to f*** off!

  • Freedom

The best thing conservatives can do is support conservative leaders who will stand up and fight for what is right for the country. When you find a real leader stand up and fight for him or her. In America I think that man is Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. When I am not fighting bad guys, one day a week I support him for President.
