Great Leader Kim Dong Wynne To Tax Oxygen In 2015

All signs point to 2015 as the year Kathleen Wynne imposes ‘carbon pricing’ on Ontarians

Here’s my first prediction for 2015.

It’s the year Premier Kathleen Wynne will put a price on industrial carbon dioxide emissions in Ontario, either through a carbon tax or cap-and-trade, which is another name for a carbon tax.

A perfect storm of factors favours such a move.

First, Wynne needs the money, given that the Liberals’ reckless spending since taking power in 2003 has left the Ontario government mired in debt.

As Auditor General Bonnie Lysyk recently noted, even if Wynne fulfills her promise to balance the budget by 2017-2018, Ontario will at that point be $325 billion in debt — more than double what the Liberals inherited in 2003 — or $23,000 for every man, woman and child in the province.

Just heard that wynne is going to tax taxes. Yes its the only thing that hasn’t been taxed yet. Also a new special tax on anyone who isn’t homosexual.

  • Just another liberal who supports voodoo economics. So what’s new?

    • Billy Bob THornton

Like the voodoo economics of the Bush administration that plunged the world into the great recession that has lasted until now which I call Depression II.

      • Billy Bob Thornton

All mainstream ideologies are familiar with being voodoo now especially in Europe and Japan. Remember Abenomics?!

I mean Japan is the nation that helped usher in the QE experiments.

      • The problem with ideologues is they won’t look over the intellectual fence. Both the democrats and the republicans share blame for the fiscal melt down we are only now coming out of.

The savings and loan scandal was started by Clinton. A close friend of mine (Franklin Raines OMB) was listed as one of the top officials who caused the problem.

But, Bush also deserves a significant portion of the credit for the monetary melt down. If he had done what should have been done to bring the “junk home loans” to an end, the problem would not have gotten so far out of hand.

Government that tries to do what the free market won’t is the problem.

Of course the Liberals are bad but what is the alternative especially after the Great Recession of 2007-08 when manufacturing left Ontario due to China being part of the WTO which Clinton allowed in 1999 and Bush continued through his presidency. It kind of shows that we cannot compete with China’s labour laws and low wages. All our industries are being shipped over there and all that is left is service sector and basic resource jobs that are just failures as far as I am concerned. This didn’t have to happen. Marie Le Pen’s victory as president of France will show that state capitalism meaning protectionism is the route for Western nations to go down. All I have say is thank you free trade for being the failure you are and which should have been known by the populace in all Western nations. This was 30 years in the making of failed Reaganism and Thatcherism followed by mainstream parties that have bought into it. That neoliberal experiment has shown to be quite short-term and I guess tariffs will have to be brought back. Boy don’t the mainstream politicians look stupid!

    • Billy Bob Thornton

So ya it will be seen by Millenials and generations that follow them that capitalism failed in 2008 and the times that followed them were just leading up to wanting war.

    • Norman_In_New_York

Wrong. 3-D printing will lower the costs of production beyond what China pays its coolies.

By my comment, I believe all the parties are wrong yet you just post images. That speaks volumes about your lack of actually typing things out. I mean neoliberalism is the worst thing to ever happen to the West. Capitalism was made great with protectionism and mixed economic models.

Ontario should have never strayed from manufacturing and tariffs.

Also your images do display a tad amount of symbolism and it is pretty apparent where they are going. I think many know what they represent.

Why have the corrupt OPP not yet filed criminal charges against her? I guess her bribery of them has worked.
