Re: MDJ editorial, “Kennesaw should get do-over on mosque right”

Last Sunday’s editorial supporting a Muslim sect’s right to obtain from the Kennesaw City Council a permit to establish a Mosque in a strip shopping center is correct, as is stated.

However, a serious constitutional question which relates to Muslims’ right, in the United States, to establish a mosque where violent teachings of the prophet Mohammed, as stated in the Quran, are to take place was never asked or answered.

In your editorial you equate a Muslim’s right to practice his religion to our right under the First Amendment to free speech and free press. What you fail to note is our right to free speech and that of the press is not absolute but is limited. Neither is one’s right to practice his or her religion absolute…
