Q Society President Debbie Robinson on Today Tonight SA on 72 Virgins Sparkling Wine

Hal & Al’s 72 Virgins Australian Sparkling Wine is a fundraiser Q Society started with a limited batch in the lead-up to Christmas and New Years. The box of 6 bottles sold for $72 plus freight

The lot sold out within three weeks and it was well received by most Australians. Many have missed out and we’re thinking whether to run a second batch early 2015. There was also considerable interest from our friends in the USA, but US law and prohibitive transport cost prohibit selling outside Australia. Perhaps there will be an American wine wholesaler interested to come on board.

What a better way to finance the fight for Liberty and Western values?

PS: The online poll found that 96% of voters thought the 72 Virgins Sparkling Wine not offensive.

    72 Hijab Virgins Cab Sav?
p.s. We all know when the Saudi’s holiday, they’re feasting in wine and festive activities.

What a splendid idea. There is some controversy about the 72 virgins in that it might be a mistranslation and it is actually 72 raisins so there is that. plus the endless potential for hangover jokes for those who might over celebrate.
