    Lovely view. I have seen many mornings like this where it takes a couple of hours or so for the heavy mist/cloud to clear from a valley/depression. Sometimes it is only the tops of the tallest trees or the pinnacle of a church spire that is visible.
    Reminds me of the poem by Keats, “Ode to Autumn” which begins:
    “Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness”
    although the appearance of the picture is more common later in the year.
