Two hundred invaders repelled at Melilla

MELILLA, Spain – Some 200 immigrants invaders from sub-Saharan countries made a third unsuccessful attempt Friday to scale a fence on the Moroccan border with Melilla and enter the Spanish enclave in North Africa.

A police source told Efe the attempt was thwarted by Moroccan security forces acting in cooperation with Spanish Civil Guards.

During the incident, a policeman was injured after being hit in the face by a homemade hook used by immigrants invaders to scale the border fence.

It was the third such attempt this week by masses of immigrants invaders seeking entry to Spain, involving 800 people on Monday; 400 on Tuesday and 200 on Friday…
