Heather Mallick still entertainingly crazy

“When it comes to sexual attack, Canadian women might as well be in Saudi Arabia. We whisper among friends and quietly trade stories, or we shut up for our entire careers.”

And why does Heather come to this conclusion? Because of Jian Ghomeshi, who was sheltered by the same incestuous Toronto media elite the existence of which is the only reason she’s ever been employed (I suspect oftentimes as the butt of a joke to which she is oblivious) and which everyone else has been disgusted by/laughing at for decades.

  • Clink9

She’s surrounded by lefty, career is all in life, hosebags. Poor thing’s view is distorted is all.

    • No, she’s just nutters.

      • I disagree. She’s also very nasty.

        • WalterBannon

She is a hard left socialist so that goes without saying…

          • b_marco

Orwell was a hard left socialist yet when push came to shove he did the right thing. This puts him ahead of a significantly sized slice of today’s western right.

        • She is a series of words that cannot be uttered in polite company.

    • Frau Katze

She’s pretty bad all right, and she’s got lots of company.

  • Pete_Brewster

Let’s not mention how Heather got HER big break. If she’d insisted that nice girls don’t she’d be waiting tables back north.

    • Pete, if you have incriminating and juicy info about H.M.’s rise to sub-mediocrity, please email someone at the blog. Otherwise, shut up about it.

      • Waffle

Thanks for my first laugh of the day, Mamba. Whatever Petey boy suffers from, it’s incurable.

    • Well, as far as journalists go, she makes a great waitress.

  • Batshit crazy lefties is right. Remember when Whoopi Goldberg stood up for Roman Polanski? — the guy sodomized a 13 year old girl and Whoopi called it “not rape-rape” because he presumably had her consent. Precisely the excuse that pedophile organizations such as NAMBLA have advanced: e.g. “if the child consents, then sex with a child is okay”. Now it appears that Whoopi is also standing up for Bill Cosby, albeit not quite as overtly.

Hollywood millionaire left-wing elites are bereft of any sense of morality, much less “social justice” — it all depends on whose ox being gored. If Hollywood doesn’t repent I think God Himself will allow the Islamo-fascists to rule the West as punishment — you get the government you deserve. Hollywood threw out loving, forgiving and peaceful Christianity and is discarding free democracy and the rule of law, so the only things that remain are religions of hate and regimes based on tyranny. There will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” for that culture of narcissistic buggers.

    • WalterBannon

“social justice” is just a code word for more Marxist re-distribution of wealth and racist discrimination against the founding peoples of western civilization.

Uncanny how technological change is always accompanied by social upheaval. The digital revolution has wrought that the benefits as well as the misery we are now experiencing. The question is, will we survive it all? I ask, because we seem to be going backwards, rather than forwards as we did in the revolutions of the past. Or is that just an illusion?

    • Frau Katze

I detect a backwards trend too. It’s unmistakable.

500 years ago, the printing press probably had as much of an impact as the internet has today. But what I’m trying to understand is how we could so quickly discard knowledge and science and embrace materialism and superstition. The rapidity has left me breathless.

        • Frau Katze

That started even before the Internet. And it wasn’t all bad: you can’t blame people for preferring electric light over candles, cars over buggies, refrigerators over iceboxes, etc.

Superstition went into decline in the same time period. But people seem to have gotten used to scientific advances (especially in medicine: people have forgotten about the era before antibiotics and vaccinations). It’s taken for granted.

Things changed a lot in the 1960’s. Lots of crazy ideas.

The Internet has only accelerated previous trends.

          • Waffle

When you really think about it, The Pill was the innovation that probably had the biggest impact. Nevertheless, Frau, this is a very complicated subject — one could write a book!! and it is difficult to have that discussion in a forum such as this.
Just to sum up — I am decrying the loss of morality which has been going on for some time; I also decry the loss of learning. — today everything has to pay off in monetary terms (that’s what I’m thinking of when I use the term ‘materialism’). It also depresses the hell out of me to see the cheap crap on display in the malls at this time of year.

When I use the term superstition, Global warming comes to mind. Those who believe in man-made global warming know nothing about science and very few have read Charles McKay’s magnificent 1859 tome.

  • Jay Currie

Heather has little lefty voices clamouring for her knat like attention. It is a wonder she manages to finish a column at all.

  • Alain

So when exactly and for how long did she live in Saudi Arabia in order to be qualified to state this? Or perhaps it is in the same boat as her claim that Harper is Hitler. This is a case of very serious mental illness.

  • Frances

Her problem is that Jian was one of her leftie buds – and she’s got her suspicions about the rest of them. If you want to feel safe, be around conservative males.
