When I teach my Econ101 classes about companies maximizing profits on activities, I use the example of magazines putting on the cover people (or events, or ideas) which will prompt people to but the magazine off of the news-racks. Simple enough idea — but what makes this great news is that the American public — those sane enough to dislike Hillary — actively boycotted the magazine given the cover.
