Sydney attack could happen in Canada, security expert says

A security expert says Canada is susceptible to terror attacks similar to the Sydney hostage situation.

David Hyde, a security expert with David Hyde and Associates, said that Canada will continue to be the target of Muslim extremists. And for that reason, he expects the government to continue to push for stronger counterterrorism powers.

“I’m seeing a lot of movement here that I think is a counterweight to threat,” he said. “It does kind of tamp down the overall level of likelihood we’re going to see more events here. Could we, yes? But I think we’re better prepared now than we ever have been before.”

A country full of sleeper cells being goaded into action by ISIS and radical domestic clerics could see a terrorist attack?

Why didn’t anyone see this coming?

I think the majority of the readers of this blog did.

I think the proper question is why didn’t the government do something? We know they had to see it because we as citizens saw it coming.

        1. The Constitution Act of 1982.
        2. Dippers and Grits.
        3. Professional Institutes of the Public Service of Canada and the Public Service Alliance of Canada.
        4. Seditious academics in the ‘educational institutions’.

Start by banning the extremist hate literature of the Koran and Hadith. If Mein Kampf is banned then why are certain passages of the Koran not banned as well….

  • Only a fool would think it couldn’t happen in Canada.
