I Wish That Bird Would Fly Away…

At one level, the Aussie authorities screwed up the way the Canadian and US authorities screwed up: These jihadists are less “lone wolves” than, as Patrick Poole says, “known wolves”. The Ottawa shooter, the St Jean killer, the Marathon bombers, the Fort Hood major, the pantybomber, all were known to the authorities. So was “Sheikh Haron”: Aside from various earlier charges and convictions, he had been charged as an accessory to the murder of his wife, who died in a particularly brutal way, stabbed and set alight in the stairwell of her apartment building.

And yet he was out on bail. And so Katrina Dawson and Tori Johnson died.

The price of incubating, nurturing and growing Islam in the west is too high. Ms Dawson and Mr Johnson did not deserve to die for going to a coffee shop. And, beyond the folly of Sheikh Haron’s bail eligibility, the two Sydney victims were sacrificed on the altar of multiculturalist delusion.

From the above article: “The price of incubating, nurturing and growing Islam in the west is too high.”

Absolutely! Please, everyone, write to your local MP and make it clear you desire to permanently stop all Muslims from immigrating to Canada, whether they originate in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, or elsewhere. Enough is enough, and we in Canada already have a terrible problem on our hands that is growing worse.

    • A moratorium is necessary. Islam does not play well with others.

I see that as terrorist atrocities spread in the west it will have the opposite effect of garnering any respect for the Israelis for having to cope with this for a half century. The liberal maroons who scream about Israel today will scream “We have to put up with this by doing nothing and so do you!!!!”

Shared this article on Facebook last night. This was what I posted as a preamble.

it’s nice to see someone else point out my biggest issue with the I’ll
ride with you hashtag, that is that is started well before the hostage
situation was even finished. At a couple points it was out-trending the
actual crisis hashtag on twitter while the damn thing was still
    happening!
My more cynical side actually thinks a lot of those who jumped on
this bandwagon today had already assumed at least some of those
hostages would die and were less bothered by that than some still
undefined “backlash” that might, horror of horrors, make some white
people say or do racist things. Usually the problem is people don’t wait
for the bodies to be cold, this time they didn’t even wait for the
bodies to stop breathing, just treated them like dead men walking. I
predict outside Australia, the identities of these two victims of
terrorism will soon be mostly forgotten, their names “whitewashed away”
    in sacrifice to political correctness.

In the best of progressive tradition, we need to lock up all muslims JUST IN CASE.
