Obama’s amnesty benefits lawbreaking employers

President Obama’s decision to grant work permits and Social Security accounts to millions of illegal aliens guts the central enforcement provision of the 1986 amnesty bill and simultaneously illustrates why he cannot be trusted to carry out comprehensive reform of our immigration laws.

It has been illegal to knowingly hire illegal immigrants since the 1986 comprehensive amnesty law, the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), went into effect. While many law-abiding employers have followed the law, some employers have ignored it and knowingly hired people in the country illegally, giving themselves an exploitable workforce that works for less and is okay with being paid under the table. When it comes to placing bids for jobs, the lawbreaking employer is often at an advantage since he can offer a lower bid than the employer who is hiring people legally and paying a decent wage and proper taxes.

And now Obama has rewarded these unscrupulous employers by giving work permits to their illegal laborers. It is a slap in the face to business owners who have played by the rules…

What’s it called when laws are ONLY enforced as a punitive measure against the generally law-abiding (as a means of coercive control) but the truly lawless are allowed to run wild?

      Modern day policing.
Adam Carolla bitches about this all the time on his podcast.
One example he cites is the illegal roadside vendors in LA who are not regulated, who sell unsafe and subpar products and leave garbage everywhere.
Meanwhile, the cops are parked down the street ready to ticket anyone who has enough money to pay for the bullshit infractions like burnt out tail lights or going a couple of miles over the speed limit.

Yes, when it comes to illegals it’s too expensive to jail them for anything but the most serious of crimes and they never have the money to pay for any fines if given tickets.
So most of the law enforcement effort is directed toward tax paying and productive citizens because we pull over for the cops, are unlikely to kill them when we do, and we always pay our tickets and show up for court dates.

        Thanks!
That’s EXACTLY what I was looking for, I just had the name wrong.
        I kept checking Anarcho-Fascism.

Decent wage? Proper taxes? You joking? Only fools pay taxes and Christians the hire their workers are worthy of.

On the contrary, success means being able to take your profits and buy the theft bonds issued to finance bloated bureaucracies and standing armies. Make the peasants pay you to be a rich idler–and send armed thugs to relieve them of all they have if they complain.

I’ve been watching this issue since the late 80s, Then, peoples’ eyes glazed over when I brought it up. Since then there’s been no improvement, it just gets worse. Now the illegals have more power than we have. They can take our jobs and get rewarded for it.

Of course Federal contracting has ALWAYS BEEN corrupt. Because there are so many set asides for women owned businesses, black owned businesses, veteran owned businesses, gay owned businesses etc etc etc etc and so on that a huge problem in Federal contract compliance is identifying all the front companies which are created on paper to fulfill those quotas but hide other companies which don’t meet the criteria. It’s a HUGE scam.
