Just one question: Who declared waterboarding was torture?

    That is all.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

My son was water boarded twice by people that knew exactly what they were doing and had all the right equipment to do it.
The second time he was water boarded he volunteered, along with one other Marine.
He also went on to say that wasn’t even the worst thing they do to you in SERE-C School.
These people complaining about water boarding are a bunch of ‘effing pantywaists!
They are weak people and they disgust me.

    • That would be the Democratic party in general.

      • Xavier

        And the King, in particular.

      1) Who declared waterboarding was torture?

The same people who think that going with out their daily double soy latte with extra foam is a hardship.

There is one point to this – hurt Republicans politically in the media and in the run up to their takeover of Congress. Obama couldn’t care less what the fallout is beyond that.

    • Frau Katze

      Sure looks that way.

Did anyone else catch the BBC international News that had the retired CIA guy (white beard guy) on?
I forget his name, but he essentially call this political theater and just another anti-Bush effort.
He them went on to say that what Bush was doing was nothing compared to what we were doing under Clinton in rendering various Islamo weirdos to Egypt, Pakistan, and Syria…
The BBC guy cuts him off with the comment that Clinton wasn’t there to defend himself and went on to another question.
Later segments had all that edited out and the guys appearance to a 15-blurb.

    • Frau Katze

That sounds like the BBC all right.

    • The BBC partisan?

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Yeah I know, hard to believe.

    • Clausewitz

Was Bush there to defend himself? The hypocrisy of the BBC knows no ends.

When IS takes prisoners, sometimes we get videotapes of the captive’s talking points and then we get the final act.
When US takes prisoners, they provide korans and halal food, lawyers, time in court, long-term medical care, and resettlement in another country with government support. Also, the political fallout and aftermath of this program is devastating. The process is so self-defeating, it appears to be a convoluted way to hand victory to the enemy.

Drone good. Waterboard bad. All you need to know. /

Americans, and perhaps others, are going to be harmed and killed because of this inaccurate and partisan report. What freedoms will we lose over this manufactured crisis?

  • Ron MacDonald

For the past fifty years Muslim terrorists have been murdering innocent people, they got what they deserved.

    • Clausewitz

Umm, try the past 1300 years.

  • Next week the democrats and Obama are going to swap out all of the M16’s for nurf guns.

  • Billy Bob Thornton

I am not defending the Democrats since they are just as much as warmonger as the Republicans are so I won’t waste my time with that, but we have to support the soldiers that come home even after the lies perpetrated by the US government to get into Iraq. We know that Iraq is worse now than when Hussein was in power. We also know that the US will justify any war to give itself an advantage in the world. The Crosstalk person on RT from yesterday’s show outlined it perfectly by saying that the US doesn’t very much care about human rights or democracy or if it supports dictators or international law.

This is not a report by the “Senate Intelligence Committee”; it’s a summery report written by the Democrat members and staffers attached to the “Senate Intelligence Committee”.
